Responsibilities

Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas;
Writing and maintaining Test documentation (Test Plans, Test Cases, reports);
Prioritizing and executing tests;
Automation of Test Cases;
Reporting defects;
Contribution to automation Test Framework development and improvements;
Conducting regression testing when needed.

Skills

Must have

Understanding testing theory (ISTQB equivalent);
Experience in test automation (Backend, FrontEnd, DB layers);
Knowledge of at least one modern programming language for test automation (Java, Python, C#, etc…)
Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills;
Understanding of the development process and Agile software development methodology;
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders in English in virtual working environment;
Openness to learn new technologies;
Attention to detail.

Nice to have

Knowledge and practical experience in different popular test automation frameworks (Selenium, Protractor, TestNG, Jasmine, BDD frameworks, like Cucumber, jBehave, Fitnesse, etc…);
Experience in testing Cloud applications;
Security testing.
